HSW Speaker Addresses Teen Relationships 2/8 and 2/9
Today’s students face a society where dangerous behaviors regarding relationships, intimacy, alcohol, and drugs are continually promoted in various mediums. To best protect our students, Episcopal wants to be proactive in providing our students the skills to best protect themselves and their peers. On February 9, Munnerlyn Campus students will hear “SAFER Choices”, a powerful educational program led by Mike Domitrz, as part of our Health, Safety, and Well-Being (HSW) effort. This educational program can impact our students’ ability to make safer choices in their lives and in the lives of their peers, especially concerning healthy relationships and responsible decision-making.
Event Update: Please note the parent event listed below has reached capacity.
Parents who were able to RSVP are invited to attend the “SAFER Choices for My Child” presentation on Wednesday, February 8, in the Sikes Theatre at 6:00pm. Mike will share how parents and their children can best discuss and handle decision-making regarding dating, intimacy, parties, and safety. The presentation is intended for parents of Middle School and Upper School students. Registered guests may join us for a reception sponsored by the Parents’ Association at 5:30pm outside the Theatre.
