Library Construction Underway

Renovation of the St. Mark's Campus library is officially underway. The updated facility will be named the Steve Williams Library and Learning Center and is estimated to be ready for the 2023-2024 school year. Mrs. Anne Draper, Media Specialist, transformed two adjacent classrooms into a functional and learning-filled library space for the 2022-2023 school year.

Keeping the original library footprint and unique wood architecture, library renovation efforts will add leading edge technology and media resources to a facility that will be the academic center of the campus for current and future students. The Steve Williams Library and Learning Center will include an expansive selection of books, a green room, the flexibility for large and small group learning, and an Innovation Lab which complements and extends the adjacent science labs.

The library is named in memory of Steve Williams, beloved educator who taught math and social studies at St. Mark's. The Steve Williams Library and Learning Center will foster the educational growth of every student, making it an ideal tribute to the impact that Steve had over his 30 years of teaching children at St. Mark's Campus.
