Parent Orientations

At least one parent is required to attend orientation to meet their child’s teacher and familiarize themselves with classroom routines and expectations. Orientations are important events for parents only. Thank you for making other arrangements for your children.

 

Please wear your parent nametag. If you are a new parent, you will receive one at orientation.

 

Monday, August 8 – All ELP and Pre-K Parents and New Parents in Grades K-5

  • 4:45  p.m. – Check-in at the Lori Schiavone Commons
  • 5:00 p.m. – Welcome Remarks in the Lori Schiavone Commons
  • 5:30 p.m. – Orientation in Classrooms (ELP & Pre-K)
  •     Orientation in the Lori Schiavone Commons (New parents, K -5)
  • 6:00 p.m. – Meet the Extended Day staff 

Wednesday, August 17 – Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2 (New & Returning Parents)

  • 5:30 p.m. –  Lori Schiavone Commons

Thursday, August 18 – Grades 3 & 4 (New & Returning Parents)

  • 5:30 p.m. – Lori Schiavone Commons

Fifth grade orientation will take place Wednesday, August 10 at 8 a.m. as part of parent and student orientations.

  • Parents will be in Room 37 and students will be in Room 38.
