Spring Performance Showcases Fine Arts Programs

The Beaches Campus held a special Spring Variety Show performance and Band Concert on Thursday, May 12, at St. Paul’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church Parish Hall. Students in third through fifth grade (and kindergarten through second grade students enrolled in dance after school) gave a performance, Hidden Talent, for their family and friends.

Written and produced by Weatherly Marshall Donald ‘08, Hidden Talent follows the journey of Sam and his friends as they embark on a frantic search for a talent in time for the talent show! Students from different Beaches Campus performing arts programs had the opportunity to participate during this annual event.

“The students worked so hard on their parts and practiced for the performance,” said Weatherly Marshall Donald ’08, Beaches Campus performing arts instructor. “Incorporating Fine Arts into our programming improves and encourages students’ creativity, confidence, and perseverance which is essential to a child’s growth.”
