Lilly Grace Bowling (Beaches Campus) and Eve Sauvageau (St. Mark’s Campus) are two of just 25 students in grades five – eight across Duval County who have the honor of advancing to the final round of the Duval County Spelling Bee. The in-person spelling competition will be held at Samuel W. Wolfson School for Advanced Studies and Leadership on February 17, 2022.
“Lily Grace has worked diligently at home to prepare for her successful journey in the Spelling Bee,” said Alana Putnam, Beaches Campus Fifth Grade Teacher.”“Not only did she study all Christmas Break, she reviewed spelling words nightly.”
“I am so proud of Eve for winning our school Spelling Bee, and now moving onto the County Bee,” said Megan Trumpler, St. Mark’s Campus Fifth Grade Teacher. “She is a dedicated student and gives 100 percent to anything she takes on.”
