A Blessed Start to the 2021-2022 School Year
First – fifth grade students attended their first Chapel of the year on Friday, August 13. In the Homily, The Rev. Adam Greene, Head of School, talked about the power of words and impact they can have on others. Beville Anderson, Head of Lower School, dismissed students with the words, “Our worship has ended — our service begins!” After Chapel, students gathered on Baker Green for the Pledge of Allegiance.
Also on Friday, clergy prayed over teachers and students and blessed classrooms, common areas and playgrounds throughout the school.
A blessed start to the year, indeed!
