Theater Students Take on Costume Design
This week students in Mrs. Donald’s theater class took on costume design and are learning the process of designing the costumes for a production, making sure they match the style and director’s vision for the piece, as well as being practical for the performer. Costumes bring visual interest to a play and help set the atmosphere of a scene. In many instances costumes can determine the mood of the characters. Students used large sheets of paper to design their costumes.
