Girls Rowing Competes at OARS Invitational

This past weekend the girls’ rowing team participated in the OARS Invitational at Turkey Lake in Orlando. The girls had a win in the single and two close fourth place finishes in the Double and Varsity 4.

“I thought we raced hard and continue to improve each week. With this being only the second spring race, it’s hard to duplicate race conditions in practice but we are improving every day,” said Coach Alton.

The girls are back in action this Saturday at the Walton Boathouse for a dual race against Bolles.
