Beaches Campus Welcomes New Kindergarten Teacher

Christy Maurer joined the Beaches Campus as a new Kindergarten teacher this semester. Christy previously taught at Jacksonville Country Day School (JCDS) for more than ten years, and has a master’s degree in education from the University of North Florida. Her undergraduate degree is in elementary education from Western Kentucky University. Christy also served as the Director of Education at JCDS for grades 3-6. She began her teaching career in Louisville, Ky. Christy is a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, and her children Baylor ’23 and Caroline ’25 attend the Munnerlyn Campus. Christy and her husband, Beau, live in Neptune Beach.
