Students Participate in Mindfulness and Our Bodies
Beaches Campus students participated in Session 2 in the Mindfulness program, Mindfulness and our Bodies, last Friday, November 6. The session was led by Kim Kelly from PlayfulMinds and focused on the connection to the feelings we have in our bodies. Students participated in meditations, focusing their attention on what was happening right there, right then in that present moment.
As we enter the month of Thanksgiving this program was a welcome reminder of the amazing power of gratitude in shifting us from focusing on the negative to appreciating what is positive in our lives.
