Third Graders Receive Bibles
St. Mark’s Campus
Third graders received personalized Bibles at Chapel on Friday, September 4, during the Third Grade Bible Presentation in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. This special milestone is celebrated at the beginning of each school year as third graders begin their adventure of reading to learn. During the homily, The Rev. William Stokes of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church explained to the students, “The Bible is unlike any other book. It is a living book that is constantly speaking to us. God talks to us through the Bible and wants to be in a relationship with you.” This special service also marked the first Chapel students were able to attend in person in St. Mark’s Church. As the church slowly and carefully begins its reopening, we look forward to other grade levels enjoying this same experience.
