Hurricane Dorian Update – Sunday, September 1 – Episcopal School of Jacksonville

Episcopal continues to closely follow Hurricane Dorian.

With local weather conditions becoming more apparent, and due to closures and mandatory evacuation orders issued today, Episcopal will be closed on Tuesday, September 3, and Wednesday, September 4. All athletics and after school activities are canceled for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Out of care and concern for our students and their families, and our faculty and staff, the school wants to give everyone time to prepare for the storm as relates to their personal circumstances.

If your student has access to internet in the next few days, they should check My BackPack and email for communications from teachers regarding remote learning opportunities during closure.

Please monitor email, the SMS text system, social media, and the Episcopal app for information regarding school closures or openings on Thursday, September 5.
