8th Grade Field Trip to Islands of Adventure – April 5

We have an exciting trip planned for your eighth grade student on Friday, April 5. The entire eighth grade and Episcopal chaperones are traveling to Islands of Adventure in Orlando. Each year our eighth grade students look forward to this trip as a culmination of their middle school experience. Students must be in good standing both in academics and conduct to attend.

Students should arrive at 6:15 a.m. at the Upper School drop off to board the buses. We will depart at 6:30 a.m. The estimated return time is 6:30 p.m. Updates on the day of the trip regarding the arrival back to campus will be available on the Episcopal website and through social media.

Once again, our trip coordinator is Dean Hess. We will meet with the students the week before the trip to provide further details and discuss expectations of students. Students will need money for lunch, snacks and for the purchase of any souvenirs.

If your student has a pass for Islands of Adventure and this pass will be used for park admission, please have your student bring the pass to Pat Brown, Middle School Operations Assistant, by Monday, April 1. Passes will be given to the chaperones and distributed at the park.

If you have any questions prior to the trip, please email or call Pat Brown at [email protected] or 396-5751, extension 1348. Should your student fall ill the night before the trip, please email [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] to notify the school your student will not attend.

We are anticipating a memorable and fun experience for our eighth graders!
