Middle School Social Event – May 4
Dear Parents,
With the success of last yearās Middle School Government driven Social Event, the Middle School Government has made strides to repeat and improve upon the Middle School Social model for this current school year. With the help of the Middle School Government and the school administration, a Middle School social event has been planned for May 4, 2018 in the Buck Student Center from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. Much like last year, this year 7th and 8th graders will enjoy music, games, and a photobooth to cap off the year with a celebration. For safety reasons, it will be a lock-in, meaning students must arrive by 7:00 pm to enter, and they cannot leave until parent pick up at 9:00 pm. The students are also not allowed to bring their electronics including phones to this event, however there will be a photo-booth there so that they can take as many pictures as they want. We are hoping that they will socialize more and not be distracted by their devices. The Parents’ Association will provide refreshments, and a DJ will provide some wonderful music. The social is āRainforestā themed, so we encourage all students to wear colorful clothing.
Tickets will be sold in the Buck during lunch the week prior to the event for $10. The week of the event the price will increase to $15 Monday through Thursday, then $20 for day-of purchases. We accept cash or check, made payable to ESJ MS Student Government. We hope all of the 7th and 8th graders will participate in this exciting event!
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our event coordinators, Christina Milon ([email protected]) and Katherine Snyder ([email protected]). We are looking forward to a great night celebrating a wonderful school year!
Sincerely,
Katherine Snyder and Christina Milon
