St. Mark’s Campus to Launch Parent Book Club
A new Parent Book Club is being established on the St. Mark’s Campus to provide community and valuable parental insights. The first book selected for discussion is Good Inside by Dr. Becky Kennedy. The book is both a practical guide and a compassionate resource for overwhelmed parents. New York Times bestselling author Eve Rodsky wrote, “This book is for any parent who has ever struggled under the substantial weight of caregiving—which is to say, all of us. Good Inside is not only a wise and practical guide to raising resilient, emotionally healthy kids, but it’s also a supportive resource for overwhelmed parents who need more compassion and less stress.”
The first meeting will occur on Tuesday, October 15, at 8:15 a.m. in the Lori Schiavone Commons. This meeting will introduce the book and the club. All parents are encouraged to attend.
The Parent Book Club will meet monthly after carpool drop-off, providing a consistent space for parents to share insights and support each other. Attendance at every meeting is not required. The goal is to foster a sense of community and connection among parents.
