Donate to Episcopal’s Hurricane Helene Response

Episcopal continues to pray for those who are enduring these devastating floods, destruction of homes, businesses and entire communities, and the loss of lives.

ESJ encourages you to give generously to the Episcopal Relief and Development (https://www.episcopalrelief.org/) or other trusted organizations you may know of that are actively involved in relief efforts. In addition, all three campuses will collect 5-gallon buckets with cleaning supplies (see the list below). You may donate one of the items on the list or prepare a complete 5-gallon bucket cleaning kit. Each campus will have a drop off location on campus. All donations must be brought to campus by 12:00 noon on Friday, October 4. Donations will be delivered to Severt’s Christmas Tree Farm, which will transport the donations to North Carolina this weekend.

Merciful and compassionate God,
Surround those who are trudging through the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Comfort those who have lost homes, businesses, belongings, communities, and more. Comfort and strengthen those who have lost loved ones.

Direct our hearts and minds to care for all those enduring this natural disaster. May we act with your mercy and compassion to do what we are able to do.
In Your Name we pray. Amen.
