Parent Group Events Foster Community
The Beaches Campus Parents’ Association hosted the annual Daughter Dance on Thursday, February 8, in the Beaches Campus Gym and Performing Arts Center. The evening included dancing, delicious food, and enjoyable activities. A heartfelt thank you goes to Ashley Bagni, the President of the Parents’ Association, whose efforts made this event possible for the families of the Beaches Campus. “It was truly heartwarming to witness families come together in fellowship during the ‘Love You to the Moon and Back’ Daughter Dance,” saidAshley Davis, the Director of Marketing and Development at Beaches Campus. “We look forward to all of our upcoming community events this spring as we wind down the year.” Photos from the Daughter Dance can be found here.
The Beaches Campus Dads’ Club recently organized a spring service project involving the construction of raised garden beds. Last Saturday, volunteers gathered at the Beaches Campus to relocate and assemble these beds, including a new one for the Pre-K students. Additionally, they worked on constructing stools for the Beach Bash auction and other campus projects. This season, students will be cultivating lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli. The service project not only allowed dads to contribute to the campus but also provided an opportunity to connect with other dads. Episcopal extends its gratitude to Sean Moneypenny, Dads’ Club President, for coordinating such a meaningful event for our Beaches Campus community.
