Commencement, Baccalaureate, and Senior Honors Convocation Celebrate Class of 2023
Episcopal honored the Class of 2023 on Saturday May 20 at Commencement on the Acosta-Schmidt House Lawn. Speaking for the Class of 2023 were Kate Adams, Valedictorian; Natalie Rabil, Salutatorian; and Grace Huie, Senior Speaker. The Rev. Adam Greene, Head of School, conferred the diplomas with Mike Grebe, incoming Board of Trustees Chair.
Baccalaureate was held in the Munnerlyn Center for Worship & Fine Arts the evening of Friday, May 19. The Episcopal church service celebrated the Class of 2023, and included Collects read by Vestry Senior Wardens; and a Welcome by The Very Reverend Kate Moorehead Carroll, Dean of St. John’s Cathedral. ESJ clergy included The Rev. Adam Greene, Head of School; The Rev. Teresa Ryan Seagle, Dean of Spiritual Life & Chaplain; Reverend Andy Farmer, Associate Chaplain; and The Rev. Christopher Dell, Associate Chaplain.
Senior Honors Convocation was held Friday morning, with awards given in recognition of service, character, and academics.
