Students Celebrate the 100th Day of School
The Beaches Campus celebrated its 100th day of school on Friday, January 28. Pre-K 3 through Grade 1 classes celebrated this milestone with activities, math games, and literacy and art projects. Pre-K 3 students joined in on this landmark with a 100-themed art project. Pre-K 4 students brought in 100 items that could fit in a bag for a special class show and tell. Kindergarten students dressed as “100-year-olds” and had a parade for their parents and celebrated the day with 100 balloons in their classroom. Grade 1 students rotated between seven stations that included LEGOS, pattern blocks, cup building, writing, “Race to 100” dice game, and Unifix cube building. “The 100th Day of School is such a fun tradition,” said Jennifer Ketchum, Head of Lower School, Beaches Campus. “The joy and excitement around campus is contagious and I especially love the parade of 100 year old kindergarten students.”
