Students Move Onto State Science Fair

Congratulations our students for their extraordinary success at the Northeast Florida Regional Science and Engineering Fair! Each ESJ student in the Honors Science Seminar earned a place award and was named to represent the region at the State Science Fair of Florida. In addition, they were recipients of over $2,100 from local sponsors and corporations, including Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, the Society of Military Engineers, the University of Florida and NAVAIR.
Four Episcopal students were named to represent the region at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). Those students — Sally Barksdale – cancer treatments, Daniel Delong – a robotic arm, Jordan Harrow – pesticide resistance, and Julia Kagiliery – water analysis — will compete with students from 75 different countries for cash prizes, scholarships and academic travel and research opportunities.
