Sophomores: HOBY Youth Leadership Applications

Attention Parents of Sophomores

Every year ESJ sends students to represent our community for HOBY Youth Leadership on the campus of FSU in Tallahassee, with the exception of last summer when the seminars were held virtually.

HOBY was founded by Hugh O’Brian in 1958 as a nonprofit organization with a mission to inspire a global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. At HOBY, high school sophomores explore their leadership potential through our inspiring leadership development programs.

If you would like your child to be considered for this week long, once in a lifetime opportunity, please have them fill out the attached application and a 75-100 essay about “What is the most rewarding or most challenging aspect of being a leader at Episcopal.”

All applications need to be turned into Ms. Frost or Dean Hodges in the Welcome Center, no later than 3:30 pm on Tuesday, January 20, 2021.
