Boys Basketball Sets State Record in Win
Last week the boys’ basketball team had a game for the record books! The Eagles set a FHSAA record while playing New Smyrna Beach High School when the team scored 24 three pointers on their way to a 81-55 victory. Of the 24 made, freshman Kent Jackson sank 12, going 12-16 from the three point line and finishing with 38 total points.
The 24 three pointers were also a top 15 national record according to the National Federation of High Schools.
The Eagles earned their 10th win of the season last night at Englewood and will travel to Bolles Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. tip off. Congratulations to the team!
