Girls Basketball Opens Preseason with Win

Girls Varsity Basketball opened up their preseason schedule with a 65-37 win over host St. Joseph’s Academy yesterday. The Eagles were led by Julia Kato ’21 with 14 points and Taylor ’21 Wells who added 13 points.

“I couldn’t be happier with the start we had tonight. Making 11 three pointers and shooting 90% from the free throw line is direct correlation to their hard work in the off season,” said Coach Durden.

The girls are back in action tomorrow night as they take on Ponte Vedra High School to close out the preseason.
