Dimensions Math Virtual Information Session with Beth Curran

Beth Curran, Math trainer, will hold a session for parents of Kindergarten – fifth grade in the Hope Hall Art Room on Friday, November 18 at 8:30 a.m.  Denise Cinnamond, Beaches Campus Math Learning Specialist, will facilitate the on campus information session while Beth zooms into the session.

Beth Curran has been a passionate advocate for high quality mathematics education for more than 20 years. She earned a Masters of Education and has held positions as Classroom Teacher, Lower School Math Coordinator, Lead Math Teacher, and Math Department Chair. She was introduced to Singapore’s methodologies for teaching mathematics in 2013 when she led a team of teachers through a successful implementation of the Primary Mathematics curriculum in Kindergarten through sixth grade. It was during this time that Beth became a specialist in elementary mathematics. In the years that followed, she honed her skill for creating a learning environment that allows all students access to rich mathematics. Beth’s desire to have a greater impact on the educational community as a whole, led her to pursue a career supporting teachers and schools.

Since 2016, she has provided professional development, coaching, and support to educators all across the United States and around the world. Beth has helped dozens of schools implement Primary Mathematics, Math in Focus, and Dimensions Math, as well as bringing the best of Singapore’s methodologies to their classrooms. She is the Founder and Lead Trainer of Core Math Training Solutions. Beth is an award winning teacher, presenter, and author of the Dimensions Math curriculum, as well as the video instructor for Dimensions Videos. She works and travels from her home in Roanoke, Virginia, sharing her passion for making math make sense.
