New This Week
If you did not receive an Ortega River Run t-shirt, additional sizes are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis through next Friday, February 21.
Registration for spring after school activities will open on Saturday, February 22. Parents will receive an email on Saturday to register.
Please review after school offerings with your children before registering. Refunds and changes will not be issued unless a class does not reach capacity.
Episcopal is closed for Spring Break March 10 – 14.
Holiday Care is open to those who registered in advance.

St. Mark’s Campus parents will continue discussing “Good Inside” by Dr. Becky Kennedy. In this meeting, they will discuss chapter 26 – end of the book (pages 259 – 298).

As always, participants do not need to have read the book to attend.

Monday, February 17, school and extended day programs are closed in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Thursday, April 17 is early dismissal for all students. The school will close at noon, and there is no Eagle Afternoon Program this day.
ELP 1 & 2
- Retrieve students from classrooms.
- ELP 1 – 11:30 a.m. dismissal. Please note the earlier time to assist with traffic congestion.
- ELP 2 – 11:45 a.m. dismissal.
- Please do not park within the Little Loop carpool area.
Pre-K 3 & 4
- Pre-K families without older siblings must use the Little Loop carpool area.
- Do not park and exit your vehicle.
Families with Children in Multiple Grades
- If you have a child in ELP and Pre-K, park and pick up your Pre-K child from the ELP deck by the Dempsey Chapel door, and then pick up your ELP children from their classroom.
- If you have a child in ELP and K-5, park and pick up ELP children from their classroom first, and then proceed to Main Carpool.
- If you have a child in Pre-K and K-5, proceed to Main Carpool.
Who:
- All St. Mark’s Campus families, faculty, and staff invited to participate.
- First and second grades are leading this service learning project.
What:
- Art Supply Drive for Art With a Heart In Healthcare. Art with a Heart in Healthcare is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of young patients staying at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and other area hospitals.
Due to compliance with hospital regulations, the organization was very specific with the supplies that the patients are able to receive.

When/Where:
- Collecting February 10- February 21 in collection bins located in carpool areas and in the school office. Supplies and “Art to Go” bags will be blessed on February 26 during Gathering in the Commons at 2:30 p.m.
Why:
- The goal is to brighten their hospital rooms and enhance the healing process.
Pre-K 3—Grade 5 students receive a book for their birthday that is added to the Steve Williams Library Collection. Please be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Trumpler regarding book selection. After a special bookplate is placed in the book, it will be blessed at the Birthday Chapel. Your child will be the first person to check out the book, and we ask them to return it after reading it for a few weeks so other children can enjoy it! Please join us at their special birthday Chapel.

April and May Birthdays
- April 14 (Grades 1-5)
- April 23 (Pre-K and Kindergarten)
Each month, first – fifth grade students are recognized by peers and teachers for demonstrating qualities of the Fruit of the Spirit that the Apostle Paul writes about in his letter to the church in Galatia. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23. Parents are welcome to attend these afternoon gatherings, as they are all Chapels and gatherings.
