Marisa and Whit Brighton Support Beaches Campus Classroom Expansion Campaign

As parents of two young children, Marisa and Whit Brighton deeply understand the significance of exceptional classroom facilities and how they can enhance the overall well-being of students and faculty alike. “From the moment we set foot on campus, we knew Episcopal was the ideal place for our girls. We immediately sensed the warm and welcoming environment where they could thrive. The smaller class sizes were something we recognized as beneficial, and the nurturing, open atmosphere offers the perfect place for growth and discovery,” Marisa shared.

Their decision to send their children to Episcopal also stems from the outstanding faculty members who inspire students of all ages to learn, grow, and achieve whatever they set their hearts and minds on. “The community of staff, students, and families who support the student learning journey every day is one of our favorite things about school,” said Marisa. “Episcopal is an exceptional place that instills an adventure in curiosity, confidence, and character for students of all ages. We are fortunate to be part of this caring and inclusive community!”

Marisa and Whit were among the first supporters of Episcopal’s recent capital campaign at the Beaches Campus. Adding eight new modern classrooms will soon enable Episcopal to achieve its strategic goal of having two sections per grade at each level. 

Whit remarked, “As the Episcopal community continues to grow and evolve, it’s crucial to invest in our infrastructure to provide limitless opportunities for current and future students to excel. We envision the new building as a place that fosters a love for learning, inspires creativity, and promotes the pursuit of excellence in every endeavor—be it academic, athletic, or artistic.”
