Class of 2024 Members Earn Athletic Recognitions – Episcopal School of Jacksonville

The annual Senior Athletic Banquet in the Semmes Gym recognized members of the Class of 2024 with annual Athletic Department awards.Those recipients were:

Peter Ober ’94 Sportsmanship Award*: Hannah Kowkabany and Ford Rachels.
Athlete Scholar Award: Charlotte Seay and Henry Robards
Best Athlete in a Single Sport: Grace Jones and Kent Jackson
Best All Around Athlete: Skyler Watts and Omarr Dixon
JT Townsend ’05 Award**: Russell Beard
Senior Choice Award: Mark Tutor – Head Boys Golf Coach

Congratulations to all of these recipients! The event was hosted by Boosters.

*The Peter Ober Award is given in his honor for his reknowned sportsmanship on and off the field while at Episcopal. Lt. Peter Ober gave his life for his country during his service as an army helicopter pilot following his graduation from the Citadel.

**JT Townsend Award is given in his honor for his lifelong tenacity after incurring a C-2 spinal cord injury during a football game. JT graduated from the University of North Florida, established the JT Townsend Foundation, and continued to give back to others.
