Collecting Art Supplies for Art With A Heart in Healthcare

Who:

  • All St. Mark’s Campus families, faculty, and staff invited to participate.
  • First and second grades are leading this service learning project.

What:

  • Art Supply Drive for Art With a Heart In Healthcare. Art with a Heart in Healthcare is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of young patients staying at Wolfson Children’s Hospital and other area hospitals.

Due to compliance with hospital regulations, the organization was very specific with the supplies that the patients are able to receive. 

  • Crayola Washable Markers
  • Crayola Crayons
  • Crayola Washable Watercolors 
  • Crayola Colored Pencils 12 Pack
  • Drawing Pad 9×12 50 sheets plus

When/Where:

  • Collecting January 29 – February 9 in collection bins located in carpool areas and in the school office. Supplies and “Art to Go” bags will be blessed in Chapel on February 12.

Why:

  • The goal is to brighten their hospital rooms and enhance the healing process.
